FINALLY: Trump’s BLUFF GETS CALLED with BOMBSHELL news

We finally got the reflecting pool. update that we have been waiting for. So, some very quick background. Just. yesterday, Trump offered up this comment. when asked for photographic evidence of. the purported vandals that cut a 350-ft. gash in the reflecting pool lining. >> Look, now I can't help it if somebody. goes in with a knife and starts. hacking it up. Uh and we also have. pictures of it, you know. We have. pictures. >> release the photos that we've been. asking for? >> now you'll see you'll see it in court. You'll see it in court. But all you have. to do is call the Parks Department. Uh. call the Department of Interior and.

I don't know if their lawyers will allow. you to speak to them because, you know, you write fake you write fake news. >> Quote, "All you have to do is call the. Parks Department." Well, turns out that. is exactly what some journalists did. >> What's up, everyone? I'm coming to you. from the Park Police Headquarters. The. reason why I'm here is because Trump. told reporters yesterday, "If you want. to get evidence of the 350-ft slit in. the Lincoln Reflecting Pool that's been. the reason for all this mess, that you. could come to the Parks Department and.

they will show it to you." I was calling. them this morning met with no answer, so. I thought, "You know what? I'm going to. go in person." Turns out this facility. is in the middle of nowhere. The weather. right now is awful. It's my umbrella's. blowing away right now, but screw it. I. thought I wanted to see it. I wanted to. see this slit. So, I came here. I was. ringing the doorbell. No one was. answering until finally I was met with a. secretary who came out and gave me this. pink note card with the PIO's email on.

it. So, I'm still left with no answers and. President Trump who said that the Parks. Department will show you the evidence is. wrong. They're either not listening to. him or there is no 350-ft slit as far as. we know because so far there is no. evidence. >> Now, Trump was pressed on this exact. point by TMZ and other outlets. Here's. what he said. >> Mr. President, the Reflecting Pool, you. mentioned yesterday that the Interior. Department has video and photos. We. reached out to them and they haven't.

shared it with us. Are you going to tell. them to. >> They've arrested, I think, six people on. the Reflecting Pool. So, the Reflecting Pool looks fantastic. I. just got pictures of it. It's beautiful, but somebody went in with a knife and. cut it. They cut it up good. And then. they cut a 200-350-ft. slip in the form of lots of little. slips. A real horrible stuff and they. destroyed the grass. They put a brand new big load of grass. out there. They destroyed it. So, it's. all being fixed, but it's a shame. So, I.

understand five or six people are. arrested. The. Interior Department can refer to you on. that. And I hear I hear that I hear they. have six people under investigation. >> Here's the best part. We've obviously. all heard Trump lie. Most of the time he. offers a pretty convincing performance. as if he almost believes his own. He doesn't, but he's. persuasive enough at least to manipulate. the rubes in his base who he wants to. con. But here,

my god, you can truly tell that his. heart just isn't in it. You can truly. tell that he doesn't believe a single. word that is falling out of his. face. And why would he? It is so. incredibly fake that even he can't find. it in himself to pretend. You mean to. tell me that vandals cut a 350-ft gash. in the brand new Reflecting Pool lining, the size of a literal football field, and yet there's not even a single frame. of video evidence to back it up? I. mean, let's be honest about what this. is. Donald Trump hired a company that. was not qualified to do this. They did a. shotty job, which we can all see now. The liner is coming up, and because he. has such a fragile ego, because he is so.

delicate, as delicate as a Fabergé egg, now Donald Trump has to pretend, play. make-believe that in fact, this was the. work of elusive vandals. And even though. the reflecting pool is under 24/7. surveillance, we're all sitting here and. and watching his administration. officials and right-wing acolytes all. play make-believe and pretend that yep, you're right, President Donald Trump, sir. It absolutely was these vandals. And so, he's coming forward with these. stories that there was a 200-ft gash,

and then a 250-ft gash, and then a. 350-ft gash that somebody did at some. point that nobody saw, a gash the length. of a football field, and he apparently. has video evidence from the the park. department that he refuses to release, even though that irrefutable evidence. would immediately invalidate his story. Again, this is all just bad community. theater because Donald Trump has a. fragile ego, can never admit he's wrong, and this is what happens when you have.

incompetent governance, whether it's. something as ridiculous as the. reflecting pool or as important as the. rest of the issues that he's failed at. governing with. The guest next to me is. a Republican, and even he was laughing, because it's all so ridiculous. The the. are just that apparent. In fact, it's. not just ridiculous, it's downright. contemptuous of his own voters. Use some. common sense here. If anybody ever lied. to your face the way that Donald Trump. lies to his own voters, you would. probably disown them as friends, right? Probably think that they were some kind.

of sociopathic and toxic human. Yeah, turns out that pretty accurately. describes the president of the United. States. And look, I want to be clear. I. don't really give a about the. reflecting pool, but I do think it's. pretty newsworthy that the most powerful. person in the world cannot tell the. truth if his life depended on it, even. on something so insignificant as a pool. And just like he isn't capable of not. lying here, he's also incapable of not. lying when he swore up and down that he. could deliver for the American people. because he refuses to do so. That is why.

all of the things he campaigned on. fixing have gotten worse, not better. Inflation is up 33% since Biden left. office. Healthcare is more expensive. Food assistance is less available. Groceries, energy, electricity, clothing, housing, all of it is more. unaffordable. We are engaged in more. wars, not fewer. Every single thing he. swore to fix has instead gotten worse. Whether it's something as insignificant. as the reflecting pool or as significant. as his ability to manage the US economy,

this president is utterly incapable of. keeping true to his word. And look, the shameless lying is par for. the course for Trump. That's not to. excuse him, not in the slightest, but it. is quite literally all he does. But. remember that his Republican colleagues. who control the House, the Senate, and. the judiciary branch have the power to. serve as a check on him. And yet, those. people, people who by the way know. better, have made the conscious decision. not to because they're more interested. in kowtowing to Trump than serving their. own constituents and adhering to the US.

Constitution. And so they watch him squander our tax. dollars on a daily basis on botched. reflecting pools, on the ballroom, the. Rose Garden, his Qatari jet, the marble. seats for the Kennedy Center, uh a. proposed triumphal arch, on a bunch of. useless that serves as a glaring. reminder that Trump is more focused on. vanity projects and mindless. entertainment than helping anyone in. this country. And Republicans are. watching all of this unfold and thinking. to themselves, "Yep, the person who is. correct here is the president. This is.

what he should be doing. I am 100% in. support of this.". I say that to say, I don't have beef with people who voted. for Trump because you believed him when. he said that he felt your pain. But now. you can see what full, unapologetic, unbridled Republican government looks. like. It is a con. It is a grift for one. man. It is a cult of personality. It is. a gleeful acceptance of the fact that so. long as the emperor is fat and happy,

then the government is doing its job. That doesn't help you, that helps Donald. Trump. Remember that the next time. Republicans cosplay as populists or. pretend to care about delivering for. regular people because they have the. ability to deliver for you right now.
