Final announcement from Brian Tyler Cohen
Hey everybody. I'm going to keep this. short and sweet. This is going to be my. last video on this particular topic, but. if I could have about a minute of your. time, I'd appreciate it. So, today is. the final day of what the New York Times. considers their week as part of their. bestseller list. I'm sure that you've. noticed I've done a big push all week to. try and hit that list. So, I'm trying to. finish strong here. Now, my pitch is. this. I have done this work for about a. decade now. In that time, I've tried to. amplify as many candidates and elected. officials as I could. I've advocated. relentlessly for content creators and. independent media, which is of course.
exploding right now. And I've raised. over $2 million for voter registration. groups across the United States, which I. don't think I've spoken about publicly. I've also done it without paywalling a. single piece of my content. I have no. plans to do so moving into the future, either. So, this would be the one time. that I do ask for some financial. support. It is about $23 for a copy of. my new book, The Day After. If you can. swing it, I'd really appreciate it. I'll. put a link right here on the screen, in. the post description, in the comments, or you can go to. briantylercohen.com/book,
or search for The Day After anywhere. books are sold. If you can't swing it, that's a 1,000% okay, and thank you for. being in this fight. Honestly, I am. appreciative of even the minute of your. time that you're giving me right now. So, look, my North Star in politics has. always been to make politics as. accessible as possible for as many. people as possible. It's why I started. doing this work a decade ago, and it's. why I continue to do it today. I've been. fortunate enough to be able to reach. millions of people, but the ones that. make the biggest difference for me are. the sprinkling of emails and comments I. get from people who tell me that they. didn't pay attention to politics before.
my videos, or that they voted for. Republicans before watching what I had. to say. That's why I keep doing this. work, because elections are won on the. margins, and that's where I believe I. can be most helpful. And I hope that. when you've tuned in and watched what. I've had to say, that that was in some. way, shape, or form helpful for you, too. So, again, thank you for putting up. with the request, and thank you for. grabbing a copy of The Day After today. I really appreciate it. >> [music].
