FATAL MISTAKE: Trump SINKS himself with new announcement | Another Day

Donald Trump scores a deal with Iran. that gets us everything we already had. He sure is a master of negotiating. This. is just another day. >> [music]. >> Well, you know what they say, things. come to those who wait. >> CNN has obtained the text of a 14-point. memorandum of understanding between the. US [music] and Iran. >> It is vague in a lot of its terms, particularly when it comes to Iran's. nuclear program. It lays out it in broad. terms how the Strait of Hormuz will be.

reopened, how the US will lift its. blockade on Iranian ports, and it does. spell out what the financial relief that. Iran can expect as part of this deal if. it meets its commitments. >> Wow, it's like Christmas morning for. moms in that the gift your kids got you. is something you already had, and you're. the one who paid for it anyway. Now, I. am frankly shocked that an. administration which has been so. forthcoming with the Epstein files is. now somewhat reticent to release the.

full details of this other document. But, maybe I'm not seeing this the right. way. >> One official told us yesterday is that, quote, "People shouldn't read too much. into the language of the MOU, and that's. what's more important than the actual. document is the understandings. that we have with each other.". >> I'm sorry, are we talking about the. nuclear deal or the ending to every. Pixar movie? The entire reason Donald. Trump took us to war was because he said. he would get Iran to guarantee they.

never have a nuclear weapon, but now. we're cool with just taking their word. for it? Good with a handshake? There has. to be more assurances than that, right? >> Mr. President, you've been saying all. week that this deal permanently prevents. Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, but. the drafts the drafts of the deal that. have been floating around barely mention. Iran's nuclear program. So, can you. explain how exactly the deal achieves. that goal? >> So, when I say permanently, it should be. permanently. But, if it's not. permanently, we will bomb them.

>> Right. Just curious what the deal part. of the deal is then, because we've been. bombing them. And all of that bombing. got Iran to come to the table and not. agree to specific terms. So, remind me. where the win is here, because I know. what the loss is, which is every US. household pays an average of $450 more. on gas and energy every month. Forking. over tons of cash to get screwed might. be cool for this guy, but not for the. rest of us. What else did this master. deal maker get us?

>> But, they have a new group of leaders. that I think is. uh. actually, I think they're smarter. I. think they're very smart. I think they're far less radicalized. >> Totally. See, Iran used to be run by. Ayatollah Khamenei, but now, thanks to. Trump killing him, the country is being. run by his son. And I don't see how that. could become an issue in the future at. all. If I recall, John Wick lost his dog. and seemed to handle it quite well. Donald Trump tore up the JCPOA, Obama's. Iran nuclear deal, sent our soldiers off.

to war, spent billions of taxpayer. dollars. There has to be more here for. us to be excited about. >> And I terminated the. uh JCPOA. That's Barack Hussein Obama's. horrible deal. That gave them a nuclear weapon. And I terminated it. And I stopped it. And then I stopped it there a second. time with the B-2 bombers. And. These are all major events in the. history of the world, in my opinion. Because it prevented them from having a. nuclear weapon. >> Look, I hate to be the bearer of facts.

here, but when it comes to Iran agreeing. to not have a nuclear weapon, Iran. agreed to that when it first ratified. the nuclear non-proliferation treaty in. 1970, and then reaffirmed that agreement. on the first page of the Obama era. accord. So, Trump tears up previous. agreements only to do the same thing. over and over and claim this time time. be different. Now I know how his wives feel. And while this not deal is in place, Donald Trump wants to make sure that you. know exactly what went into getting this. so-called crowning achievement.

>> By the way, those last 2 days. were brutal. $200 million worth of bombs. and you know, it is expensive too, by. the way, aside from everything else. >> Jesus, this man can't even talk about. bombs without involving the price. But. thank God Republicans found that $200. million for Trump to spend on weapons by. recently cutting aid to pregnant women. and children. It's just a shame that. those Republicans weren't aboard the. Titanic. So many men could have been. saved first. But before you go thinking.

that it's all just a bunch of hippy. liberals who are unhappy with this deal, some members of Trump's own party wanted. to chime in. >> The language that has come out, there's. there's no mention of dismantling the. nuclear program or the ballistic missile. program. There's no commitment to ending. support for Hamas, Hezbollah, or other. terrorist organizations. But in contrast. to that, uh there is uh immediate. sanctions relief from the moment the MOU. is signed. I mean, that could be upwards.

to $3 billion a month uh into the. coffers of the Iranian regime. >> Iran is a richer country as a result of. this MOU. And they lost the war. That's. the part I can't get my head around. >> And if Trey Gowdy can't get his head. around this, that's saying something. This guy has the most narrow head I have. ever seen. He looks like if a crescent. moon had hair. That is how bad this deal is. Trump's. own base is calling him out on his. But to hear J.D. Vance tell. it, it's all part of the game.

>> Even if you disagree with this. particular action, it's completely ridiculous to pick up. your marbles and go home. You can't just. quit politics because the leader of a. country of 330 million people makes a. decision you disagree with. I don't like. this idea of the president did something. I like, didn't like, so I'm out. I think. it's a very immature way to approach the. political process. >> That's right. The mature way to approach. the political process is throwing your. values in the dumpster as you let your. quest for power drive every move you.

make. The point is, as Trump sees it, this is a monumental achievement for the. world and especially for his presidency. And if there's one man who's going to. take credit, it is going to be him. >> Why not stick around for the signing. ceremony with this Iran peace deal? >> You might? >> Yeah, I might, but I'd rather This is a. memorandum of understanding. It's very important, but it might not be. uh the kind of a document that I should. be signing.

>> Trump isn't even sticking around until. Friday to sign the deal. Have you ever. known Donald J. Trump to not make a. giant spectacle of signing. anything next to trying to close some. other deals? I think it's his favorite. activity. >> Take some time and I'll make this. signature absolutely perfect, so it. looks very good. >> [applause].

>> Good, that's a good one. >> That is a good one. You took your time. to make sure everyone in the room could. feel sufficiently nauseous from looking. at the top of your hand. The reality is, what took place today is what Donald. Trump does best, marketing. Selling a. product people while labeling it as. some top-of-the-line good. He did it. with the ballroom, he did it with the. reflecting pool, and now he's doing it. with the Iran deal. Honestly, that's. been the whole presidency. He sold his. campaign as that of a man who would. lower prices, make healthcare more.
