BRUTAL: Trump gets hit with news he FEARED MOST
Some brutal news for Donald Trump as. today's jobs report reflected an. absolutely dismal state of the economy. on the principal issue on which Trump. was elected. Remember, he promised to. move heaven and earth to deliver on what. Joe Biden apparently couldn't. And yet, based on today's new development, that. project continues to fail in spectacular. fashion. According to the February jobs. numbers, the country lost jobs. We had a. contraction of 92,000 jobs, which means. that since April of 2025, the US economy. has seen a net loss of jobs. I want to.
repeat that. In the last 10 months, Trump has not added a single job, but. has instead shed them. Compare that to. his predecessor, Joe Biden, who added on. average 400,000 jobs per month. Meaning. the last year of Trump's presidency was. worse than a single month of Biden's. Absolutely brutal. Put another way, in. the 13 months since Trump took office, the economy's created a net total of. 198,000 jobs. In the last 13 months of. the Biden administration, 1.4 million.
jobs were created. Not so sleepy by. comparison. All of which would be bad. enough onto itself, but even worse given. the fact that this is what Trump. promised on the campaign trail. Under my. leadership, we are quickly going to turn. this economic nightmare into an economic. miracle. Wait till you see how fast. we're going to get it going. We'll get the prices down. Don't forget, you can stop inflation, but the bacon is. still at the all-time high, and the. lettuce and the apples. There's a story. that should never happen in this. country.
An old woman goes into the grocery. store, she takes three apples. That's. what she lives on. And she brings it up to the counter, and. then they tell her the price of the. apples, and. she says, "I'm sorry.". Then she takes one apple and brings it. back to the refrigeration area, puts it. back in, and comes and. pays for two apples. This should never. be happening in our country. This should. never be happening. We will make America wealthy again, and. we will make America affordable again.
>> [cheering]. >> Big problem. >> [applause]. >> So, we're 2 days away from the best jobs. and the biggest paychecks and the. brightest economic future the world has. ever seen. Two days away from the best jobs and the. biggest paychecks and the brightest. economic future the world has ever seen, he said. That was last year. Guess. that's the math that's taught in Trump. University. And worse yet, the. unemployment rate has also increased to. 4.4%, the highest since 2021. To be.
clear, the unemployment rate was 4%. under Biden, meaning it's gotten worse. So, Trump took the Biden economy, which. he railed against for 4 years, and. managed to make that the high water. mark. It is almost impressive the extent. to which he managed to exacerbate issues. on the one thing he vowed to fix. And. what's worse for Trump and Republicans, even Fox News is covering this. We're. back with a Fox News alert. It's a. business one. Moments ago, brand new job. numbers revealed. The US economy did not. add jobs, they lost 92,000 jobs in.
February, a steep drop from. expectations. Unemployment also ticked. up slightly to 4.4%. [music]. Surprise, surprise, in February, 92,000. jobs were taken out of the economy. Not. expected. >> [snorts]. >> The unemployment rate came in slightly. higher, 4.4%. Not expected. >> So, we have a negative number for. February nonfarm payrolls, a loss of. 92,000 jobs. You can see the market. reacting reacting, excuse me. We're also.
seeing the unemployment rate tick up to. 4.4%. A loss of factory jobs of 12,000, uh. government jobs, a loss of 6,000, uh. private sector jobs, a loss of 86,000. Uh average hourly earnings up 3. uh 8%, which is better than expected. Uh but. obviously, the headline here is what. we're seeing within uh the report. We. also got a negative read on January. retail sales two tenths of a percent in.
the to the downside, but I I do want to. say again, it is the jobs report. Uh. we're also seeing here again uh the U6, the unemployment rate. That came in at. 7.9%. Labor force participation, 62%. uh again, all of these numbers, to be. clear here, are. the uh the opposite of the estimates uh. that we got. Let me get into the report. to give you exactly where the government. says that these massive job losses are. actually happening. Sticky report, messy. report, and I'm going to be looking for.
revisions here in a moment. >> And yet, right on cue, administration. officials stepped in to try and convince. you not to believe your lying eyes. >> This economy is moving the fastest we've. ever seen, and with, say, 4% growth this. year, which is about what I expect that. we're going to see, then there'll be so. much uh activity that everybody's going. to be able to find a job that wants one. Everyone's going to be able to have a. job who wants one. That's right. Jobs. will be plentiful, we'll all be rich, America will enter its golden age. I. feel like I've heard this one before.
We're approaching the dawn of America's. golden age. It's going to be a golden. age for America. The golden age of. America begins right now. >> Our country right now, this is the. golden age of America. We're in the. golden age. This is the beginning. But. this will be the most exciting and. successful period of reform and renewal. in all of American history, maybe of. global history. The golden age of. America, I call it. It's begun. And yet, what do we have to show for this golden. age? Well, costs are surging, inflation's rising, job growth is.
absolutely anemic. Here's a chart of all. monthly jobs added for the last few. years. You can pinpoint the exact moment. that Donald Trump took office when jobs. numbers started going negative. Gas. prices are now surging. Here's a chart. of oil prices reaching the highest cost. per barrel in years. This comes a day. after Trump promised that oil prices. were actually stabilizing. And yesterday, my administration. announced decisive action to help keep. down. the oil prices, including our offering.
political risk insurance for tankers. transiting into the Gulf, as you know, pretty dangerous territory. Further action to reduce pressure on oil. is eminent, and the oil seems to have. pretty much stabilized. >> What that tells you is that Trump will. continue to you. He and his. mouthpieces will continue to pretend. that what you're experiencing does not. exist. And frankly, if they're not. willing to admit that a problem even. exists, then they can't be trusted to. fix it. After all, you can't solve a. problem that's not there, which means.
that your high prices will stay high. Your health care costs will continue to. rise. Groceries will get more expensive, energy costs will get more expensive, utility bills will get more expensive. because these people will not fix. something that they think is perfect. And look, I say this with some humility. here. I was one of those people who did. this during the Biden era, what. Republicans are doing right now. I. thought that strong macroeconomic. numbers meant a strong economy. I. pointed to the unemployment rate and the. stock market and jobs reports as a win, not bothering to acknowledge the warning.
signs like the fact that most Americans. can't afford a $400 emergency. The. difference though is that Republicans. called it out back then, and they won a. whole election based on that. And. despite knowing better, now they're. falling into the very trap that they. benefited from. Meaning they're well. aware of the truth. Again, they won an. election based off it, but they're. choosing to lie. They're making the. conscious decision to pretend not to see. what's there because it's more important. to coddle Trump than to help Americans. And that's the thing, Trump promised. America first, but it's not America.
first, it's Trump first. He is the one. who's doubled his net worth. He's the. one who uses the DOJ as his personal law. firm. He's the one who leans on media. companies for favorable coverage for. him. He's the one who is surrounded by. gold and opulence and wealth, not you, him. And don't take my word for it. Listen to the woman who built her entire. brand off of her allegiance to the guy. What is happening to the man that that I. supported, you supported, the man that. that denounced what happened in Iraq,
the man that said no more foreign wars, no more regime change. Promise it on the. campaign. J.D. Vance promised it. Tulsi. Gabbard promised it. All of them. promised it, and we're a year in. A year. in, and we're in another war, and we've got American troops being. killed. I I I think it's time for. America to rip the band-aid off, and we. need to have a serious conversation. about what the is happening to this. country, and who in the hell is is are. these decisions being made for, and who.
is making these decisions? When even. Marjorie Taylor Greene recognizes the. con that's been sold by Trump in the. MAGA Republican Party, then everybody. else should, too. So, whether it's Trump's own allies or. the numbers themselves, the facts don't. lie. Trump and the GOP have made your. life measurably worse, measurably more. difficult, measurably more expensive. Regardless of where you live, red state. or blue state, they have ensured that. your costs will go up, whether it's. food, clothing, energy, electricity, gifts, health care, everything is.
rising. Which again, would be. disqualifying enough on its own, but. coupled with the fact that these people. swore up and down that they would get. the economy under control really does. make that lie even more egregious and. even more indefensible. But don't worry, because at least one man has managed to. thrive during all of this. And in. today's GOP, he is the only person who. really matters.
