BREAKING: UPDATE on Trump DRAFTING AMERICANS into war

The prospect of the draft being. re-implemented has surged back into the. national spotlight after Caroline. Levitt, the press secretary, said this. on national television. >> Mothers out there are worried that we're. going to have a draft, that they're. going to see their sons get in and and. daughters get involved in this. What do. you want to say about the president's. plans for troops on the ground? As we. know, it's been largely an air campaign. up until now. Mhm. It has been and it will continue to. be. And President Trump wisely does not.

remove options off of the table. I know. a lot of politicians like to do that. quickly, uh but the president as. commander-in-chief wants to continue to. assess the success of this military. operation. Uh it's not part of the. current plan right now, but the. president again wisely keeps his options. on the table. Ah, yes. So wise to keep. all options on the table. It would be a. shame to let American kids know that. they don't have to worry about the. prospect of getting drafted into the war. like it's 1863.

We are so lucky that in Trump's infinite. wisdom, he won't remove the prospect of. dragging Americans into the Middle East. despite the fact that I seem to remember. some explicit campaign promise on this. exact topic. I'm not going to start a. war. I'm going to stop wars. No more wars. No more disruptions. We. will have prosperity and we will have. peace. Under Trump, we will have no more. wars, no more disruptions, and we will. have prosperity and peace for all. I am. the candidate of peace. I am peace. But.

hey, details, am I right? In fact, the. Trump universe specifically specifically. commented on how to avoid being drafted, which is to say, vote for Trump. Donald. Trump and I believe that America ought. to be tough, and America ought to have a. strong foreign policy. But when people. like Kamala Harris send our sons and. daughters, our young people to fight in. stupid wars, it is the young generation. that carries the burden of that. We've. got to stop sending our young people to. faraway lands. We are not the policeman.

of the world. We need to use our young. people here at home. My honest guidance. to those young men, and I think their. concerns are very legitimate, but if. you're worried about the world spinning. out of control, if you're worried about. a military draft, if you're worried. about God forbid a world war, the best. way to prevent it is to vote for Donald. Trump. And I I really believe that. She would get us into World War because. she is too grossly incompetent to do the. job, and then.

all of your sons and daughters will end. up getting a draft notice. The thing. called the draft. Dad, what's this? Oh, congratulations, you've been drafted. into the military. You're going to fight. a war against the country that nobody's. ever heard of. Isn't it true? Isn't it ridiculous? How about that? The only way to avoid. the draft is to vote for Trump, says. Trump, until such time as Trump is. president, at which point Trump will. consider drafting you into the Middle. East because of Trump's war. As they.

say, promises made, promises kept. Now, you might imagine that this isn't. sitting well with everybody. Marjorie. Taylor Greene, for example, posted, "The. way a bunch of psycho Republicans want. to not only draft your sons, but your. daughters, too. Send Lindsey Graham, Mark Levin, and Laura Loomer, and all. the murderous, bloodthirsty maniacs that. support this America last war." And. frankly, she's right. Lindsey Graham is. one step away from foaming at the mouth. on national television for this war, as. he has made abundantly clear. I want.

them to get in the fight. We you know, we sell them weapons. Iran. is striking their country. They have. good capability. About the Strait of. Hormuz, what if the What if the regime. fail? Then you never had anybody in Iran. in the future that wants to close the. strait. What if you had Iran with people. who don't want to build a nuclear weapon. to kill us all? What if you had a run in. the future that doesn't support. Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis? That's where we're headed. Donald J. Trump is going to bring this terrorist.

regime down. We're going to have. partners in Iran, and we're going to. open up a gateway to peace. This won't. fix itself. Every other president has. talked about doing it. President Trump. is in the process of doing it, and we're. going to win. Israel and the United. States, you just wait to see what comes. in the next 2 weeks. The next 2 weeks. meaning what? We're going to blow the hell out of. these people. This regime is in a death. row now. It is going to be on its knees.

It's going to fall, and when it falls, we're going to have peace like no other. time. We're going to have prosperity. unlike anyone could ever imagine. Peace. brings prosperity. You can't do it by. talking. The Democrats criticize this. operation. They didn't do a damn thing. These men and women in the military. should make us all proud. Weird how none. of that popped up on the campaign trail. Weird how they didn't trot out the. Lindsey Grahams of the world when they. were claiming that Kamala was going to. send your kids into the Middle East.

When Stephen Miller was out there. tweeting, "Kamala will send your sons to. war." And yet, now that they have power, per usual, they don't give a what. you think. They do what they want. And. what they want is another regime change. war. And if that means it's going to. take years, then so be it. Because part. of being an autocrat is that it does not. matter what you or I think. They can do. whatever they want, and they can do it. with impunity. In fact, Marjorie Taylor. Greene, again, brought up that point. just days ago that Trump is acting. completely unresponsive to the will of.

Americans and the dangers of a president. who ignores the will of the people. He. already said to the New York Post today. that he doesn't care about the polling. He doesn't care about what the American. people think, and he may put troops on. the ground. He took a "Oh, this is going. to be a few day war" to now it's going. to be maybe 4 weeks or more. I I want to. say, what is happening to the man that. that I supported, you supported, the man. that that denounced what happened in. Iraq, the man that said no more foreign.

wars, no more regime change, promised it. on the campaign, J.D. Vance promised it, Tulsi Gabbard promised it, all of them. promised it, and we're a year in, a year. in and we're in another war and. we've got American troops being killed. I I I think it's time for America to rip. the band-aid off and we need to have a. serious conversation about what the. is happening to this country and who in. the hell is is are these decisions being. made for and who is making these.

decisions? And look, this is part of the. Trump con. He cast places as a populist, as a working class champion, but this. guy does not give a flying about. the working class. He is a billionaire. whose only major legislative achievement. has ever been giving a massive tax cut. to the ultra-wealthy. The guy descended. down a golden escalator to launch his. political career. He promised to lower. the cost of rent and groceries and. instead he cut Medicaid from 17 million. Americans, cut ACA subsidies from 24. million Americans, cut food assistance.

to the tune of 186 billion dollars, wants to cut social security, engaged in. a trade war that sent the cost of. literally everything surging from food. to clothing to raw materials for. housing, energy costs are up, inflation's at virtually the same spot. as when Biden left office, wages are. flat, the Epstein files are being. covered up, and so of course. this dude doesn't care about the working. [clears throat] class or what they want. His entire presidency has been a war. against them, not to mention the new war. that's bumping up right now. And so it.

should be no surprise then that as. president he is not looking to hold. rich, powerful, connected people to. account. These are his friends, they're. his pals, they funded his campaign, they're in his tax bracket. You think. he's going to give those people up so. that he can pander to the suckers who. believe his populist stick? Trump said. what he had to say to who he had to say. it to in order to get elected, but that. does not make him a populist. It makes. him a con man, something that really. should already have been abundantly. clear after decades of stiffing working.

class Americans while consolidating more. wealth, more power for himself. And. look, this is not about political party. Yes, I'm a Democrat. No, this isn't. about being a Democrat. I'm asking any. Trump voters out there to just open your. eyes. You do not owe Trump anything. He. owes you. He works for you. And if he. hates you so much, if he has so much. contempt for you that he would lie to. your face like he's doing right now as. it relates to war, then remember that he. and his party are not entitled to your.

support. Your vote is not their. birthright.
