BREAKING: Pam Bondi faces FIRING from Trump
Some bombshell news here. The New York. Times is reporting that Donald Trump is. considering firing Attorney General Pam. Bondi and that her hold on her job is. more tenuous than it's ever been. According to the Times, Mr. Trump has. floated the idea of replacing Ms. Bondi. with Lee Zeldin, the administrator of. the Environmental Protection Agency. They spoke on the condition of anonymity. to discuss private deliberations by the. president. Mr. Trump has not made a. final decision and Ms. Bondi's allies. pointed to photos of her and the. president traveling to the Supreme Court. on Wednesday to dispute the notion that. the president is planning to fire her. So, let's dig into why Pam Bondi is.
suddenly on the chopping block. Donald. Trump has privately complained to aides. repeatedly that Bondi is, quote, weak. and ineffective at pursuing his agenda. Chief among his grievances is that he. sees Bondi's failure to quickly and. effectively prosecute the investigators. who had pursued him for years, including. former FBI Director James Comey and New. York Democratic Attorney General Letitia. James. Both criminal cases were. dismissed in November by a judge who. rightly pointed out that the Trump. administration official who secured the.
indictments had been improperly. appointed to her post. And on top of. that, you've, of course, all seen the. Epstein file debacle, which has become. its own spectacular disaster. Bondi. looked the American people in the eye. more than a year ago and said that she. had Epstein's list right there on her. desk and then released binders full of. irrelevant information to MAGA. influencers. And since then, the charade. has only continued on. So, yeah, not. exactly a stellar resume all around. But, here's what I cannot stress enough. This firing Pam Bondi will not fix.
Trump's problems because let's be very. clear about what Pam Bondi actually is. She's not some independent actor who. went rogue and embarrassed the. administration. She's not some. principled official who stood up to. Trump and paid the ultimate price. She. is, and always has been, a fully. assembled extension of Donald Trump's. will. An appendage, a vessel, a tool. She told us this herself, loudly and on. the record, just after she was confirmed. to her post, Attorney General Bondi told. lawyers at the Department of Justice.
that it was their job to, quote, "zealously advance, protect, and defend. the policies of the United States as set. by the president." She didn't say the. law, she didn't say the Constitution, she said the policies as set by the. president. She announced on day one that. the entire Justice Department of the. United States of America would operate. as a personal instrument of Donald. Trump. That was the goal from its. outset. That was the mission statement. And she followed through. Attorney. General Bondi seems to be taking. direction directly from Donald Trump.
She fired career prosecutors who Trump. didn't agree with, overrode judges who. Donald Trump didn't like, installed his. loyalists in US Attorney's offices. across the country, including those that. were improperly appointed. The DOJ. decimated or just completely eliminated. entire offices. They did all of this in. the name of serving Donald Trump. Every. controversial decision, every trampling. of norms, every moment that made your. jaw drop over the last year and a half, it was all in fealty to one man.
So, now I want to ask a very simple. question. If Pam Bondi was doing Trump's. bidding, and she clearly was, then whose. fault is it that things went sideways? The Epstein file situation is the. perfect example here. Bondi has faced a. barrage of criticism, again, rightfully. so, for her handling of the Epstein case. in that she's still not complied with. the law to release the full files, and. she's been shown to have shielded. references to Donald Trump and his pals. in the release of the documents. Now, I. ask you, does anyone, anyone, genuinely.
believe that Pam Bondi made the decision. to shield Trump's references in those. Epstein documents on her own? That she. just freelanced that one? That she went. home one night, thought it over, and. independently concluded, "You know what? I'm going to bury anything that connects. the president to Jeffrey Epstein." Come. on now. You think she decided to lie. under oath just for the fun of it? >> I want to discuss another man, Donald. Trump, who is all over the Epstein. files. Like former friends.
Here's the video. Like. former Prince Andrew. Donald Trump attended various parties. with Jeffrey Epstein. I want to know were there any underage. girls at that party or at any party that. Trump attended with Jeffrey Epstein?
This is so ridiculous and that they are. trying to. deflect. from all the great things Donald Trump. has done. There is no evidence that. Donald Trump has committed a crime. Everyone knows that. This has been the. most transparent presidency. He's the. one who asked to see those files. >> I'm going to claim my time. I got your. answer. You said there's no evidence. Mr. Chairman, please stop the clock. My. Please stop the clock. For legislation. This This is Time. I'd like to reclaim. my time. Time belongs to the gentleman. from California.
I'm going to put up. another document from. a witness who called the FBI's National. Threat Operations Center because I. believe you just lied under oath. There. is ample evidence in the Epstein files. >> Don't you ever accuse me of a crime. >> you just lied under oath and this is all. on videotape. You said there was no. evidence of a crime. I'm showing you. here is a witness statement who called. into the FBI's Threat Operations Center. He drove Donald Trump around in a limo.
He overheard Donald Trump said to. Jeffrey on his cell phone. He was so. angry he was going to stop the limo and. hurt Donald Trump. And he met a girl who said she was raped. by Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. She later had her head blown off and. officers at at scene said that could not. have been suicide. No one No one. at the Department of Justice interviewed. this witness. You need to interview this witness. immediately.
Epstein should rot in hell. So should. the men who patronized his operation. And as we sit here today, there are over. 1,000 sex trafficking victims. and you have not held a single man. accountable. Shame on you if you had any. decency, you would resign right after. this hearing concludes. >> has expired. You do not take these risks. unless the basis of your employment is. covering for your boss. And lo and. behold, her boss is exactly the person. who's getting protected here.
And of course, the ultimate irony is. that Donald Trump is now thinking about. firing her for doing his bidding. But. look, this is the Trump playbook and it. has never ever once deviated. You do his. dirty work, you absorb the heat, and the. moment you become a liability, a. political inconvenience, you become a. stranger. Jeff Sessions, fired after he. recused himself from the Russia. investigation. Bill Barr, fired after. Barr told Donald Trump that the DOJ. couldn't find evidence of widespread. fraud in 2020. Rex Tillerson, Mike.
Pompeo, Mike Pence, Ronna McDaniel, Michael Cohen, George Papadopoulos, Gordon Sondland, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Kristi Noem, just last month after Trump. backed her repeatedly right up until the. moment that he didn't. The pattern never. changes. You are useful until you're. not. The moment you stop being useful, or worse, the moment you become a. problem, under the bus you go. And that's a point that even Marjorie. Taylor Greene aired out publicly. Jeffrey Epstein was supposedly killed. That That is That's on an FBI form. That's not somebody calling in an.
anonymous tip or writing it on some. deep, you know, dark place in the. internet. That's an actual FBI file. stating what happened. And people are. going to have to completely take in what. they are seeing with their own eyes, what they're reading, and what they're. being told. The reality is the Trump. administration is not releasing the. information. And I got you look, I got. yelled at by the president over this. He. This is why he called me a traitor. He.
called me a traitor because I would not. take my name off the discharge petition, because I stood firmly and said no, I. we're going to release the Epstein. files. I'm standing with women who were. raped as teenagers. I I'm not standing. with the government. I I don't support I. don't support the cover-up of of all of. this stuff, whatever it may be. And the. president got mad at me, and he told me, and I've said this multiple times, he. told me his friends would get hurt. And.
that's what he told me, and and then. we're seeing a continuous slow walk and. cover-up of a lot of this information, and I know that is why. I firmly believe. that that's why it is being covered up. Look, Pam Bondi works directly for. Donald Trump. She She is not out there. an independent attorney general. She. can't just run out and do whatever she. wants. She works at the pleasure and. approval of the president of the United. States. Everybody in the administration. does. So does the FBI. They're under the.
very same. uh pleasure and approval of the. president of the United States. So when. you're when everyone's getting mad at. Pam Bondi or everyone's getting You can. name anybody you want. The The man at. the top is Donald Trump. He's the. president. And he's the one that was. completely against releasing the files. When we started fighting to get them. released, he's the one that called it a. Democrat hoax. He's the one that You. know, he invites everybody to the White. House, but he will not invite these.
women that that have defended him, by. the way. They have defended him and said. Donald Trump did nothing wrong. They. have defended him the way he doesn't. bring them in the White House. and and support them. But what you're. seeing is if it looks like a duck it and. if it if it quacks like a duck and it. walks like a duck, it's a duck. And the. cruelest part here, Bondi's problem is. that there seems to be nothing that she. won't do to please Trump. She went. further than most would. She didn't just.
follow orders, she enthusiastically, publicly, relentlessly turned herself. into whatever Donald Trump needed her to. be, a complete malleable figure, and. that's still not enough. That will never. be enough because this was never about. her performance, it was never about. results, it was about Donald Trump. having someone always there, always. available to blame when things go wrong. And Bondi, through her own blind, boundless loyalty, handed him the. perfect scapegoat. Here's the bottom.
line. Pam Bondi's failures at the DOJ. are Donald Trump's failures. The botched. Epstein release is Donald Trump's. botched Epstein release. The dismissed. prosecutions of his political enemies. are Trump's dismissed prosecutions. The. chaos, the lawlessness, the absolutely. decimated Justice Department, that is. Donald Trump's Justice Department. The. Trump administration has sought to. transform the DOJ into the president's. tool for promoting his agenda and. challenging all of his detractors. Well, congratulations, you got exactly what. you asked for. And now that it's blowing.
up in your faces, you're looking for. someone else to take the fall. That's. not accountability. It's not even. scapegoating in the traditional sense. It's something even more absurd than. that. It is a man firing his own. reflection and expecting a different. face to appear in the mirror. Before you go, I'm very excited to. announce that I've written a new book. titled The Day After: How to wield power. in a post-Trump world. The book explores. what is, in my opinion, the single most. important theme that we're dealing with. in politics today and moving forward,
power. Specifically, how Republicans. abuse it and how Democrats refuse to. wield it. This book explains how we got. here and more importantly, how we should. finally wield power if we're lucky. enough to get it back. It is the. blueprint for progressives who want to. do far more than just restore the status. quo. Please pre-order today by following. the link on this screen. You can grab. yours from any of the major retailers. like Amazon and Barnes & Noble or scroll. down on the page and get a copy from an. independent bookstore closest to you. Thanks so much for supporting. independent media.
