BREAKING: MAJOR announcement about US airports

President Trump posted on Truth Social, quote, "If the radical left Democrats. don't immediately sign an agreement to. let our country, in particular our. airports, be free and safe again, I will. move to move our brilliant and patriotic. ICE agents to the airports where they. will do security like no one has ever. seen before." Now, in a subsequent post, he said that he instructed ICE agents to. be ready by Monday, and now the. president is saying that you, sir, are. going to be in charge.

How is that going to work? Are ICE. agents going to move into American. airports starting tomorrow, Monday? Yes. And I'm currently working on the. plan now of execution. Working with a. director of ICE and. the administrator of TSA, the acting. administrator. So, we'll put together a. plan today and we'll execute it. tomorrow. Okay, so there are a lot of questions. here. First of all,

are ICE agents even remotely trained to. handle security at airports? ICE agents have received high-level. training. And you know, ICE agents are assigned to many airports. across the country already. They do a. lot of uh investigation criminal. investigation and smuggling at airports, but you know, there's there's. I mean, there's got TSA agents covering. exits, you know, uh people that enter. through the exits. You know, certainly a highly trained ICE.

law enforcement officer can cover an. exit makes people people don't go. through those exits. uh enter an airport through the exits. and that that would stuff like that. relieves that TSA officer to go to. screening and and to to reduce those. lines. So, wherever we can provide extra. security I don't see an ICE agent. looking at a an x-ray machine because. they're not trained in that. There are. certain parts of security that TSA's. doing that we can move them off those. jobs and put them in the specialized. jobs to help move those lines. Okay, that was going to be my next question.

So, what you're saying is when you move. ICE into airports, they're going to be. just around the exits and the exteriors, they're not going to be um helping. people get through the lines and. screening people's bags. Those discussions are going on now. I'm. I'm not expert at TSA, so that's why I'm. talking to the TSA administrator and the. ICE director find out where we can fit. in. We'll get We'll have a plan by the. end of today. where we're sending uh what airports. we're we're starting with and where. we're sending them, but that's the.

discussion we're having right now. I. mean I I ended the discussion to do the. show and I'll be back having the. discussions when I finish. So, it's it's. it's a work in progress, but we will be. at the airports tomorrow helping TSA. move those lines along. With respect, if. you're doing this in 24 hours, how well. thought out could it possibly be? Again, ICE has been at airports across. the country for a long time. It's just. expanding the thing. Look, it does it it. d-. How much of a plan does it mean to to to. guard an exit to make sure no one comes.

through that exit? I mean we're talking. about security options and these. officers are well trained in security. and they're well trained trained in. identification and look, we're going to. do what we can to help TSA move those. people through the line. That was Dana. Bash questioning border czar Tom Homan. about the administration's brilliant new. plan to now move the most controversial. and untrained law enforcement agents in. America into the airports starting. Monday where they'll interface with even. more people than they did before. Now, Dana Bash asks, are ICE agents.

trained to handle airport security? To. which Tom Homan says that ICE agents. receive high-level training. Let me just say, if Tom Homan thinks. that ICE is highly trained after we. watched their agents shoot and kill a. woman in a car for no reason, after we. watched their agents disarm, shoot, and. kill a man on the street for no reason, then that doesn't exactly inspire. confidence about being well-trained. enough to know what the they're. doing at our airports. Now, let's talk about the reason for all. of this, the reason that we're here.

First off, this was all born in response. to this warning from Trump just days. ago. If the radical left Democrats don't. immediately sign an agreement to let our. country, in particular our airports, be. free and safe again, I will move our. brilliant and patriotic ICE agents to. the airports where they will do security. like no one has ever done before, including the immediate arrest of all. illegal immigrants who have come into. our country with heavy emphasis on those. from Somalia who have totally destroyed, with the approval of corrupt governor, attorney general, and congresswoman. Ilhan Omar, the once great state of. Minnesota. I look forward to seeing ICE. in action at our airports. Make America.

great again. So, just to be clear here, Democrats offered a standalone bill. multiple times over to fund TSA. Republicans didn't want to take it. Instead, they want all of DHS funded. And Democrats said, "Okay, but ICE. agents have murdered two people in the. streets so far, so we want some pretty. reasonable conditions, including for ICE. agents to not wear masks." Pretty. reasonable that law enforcement in. America show their faces. That ICE. agents identify themselves. Again, pretty reasonable. That ICE agents can't. enter private property without a warrant.

signed by a judge. Again, pretty. reasonable considering the Fourth. Amendment to the Constitution protects. from unreasonable searches and seizures. so that Americans can have a right to. privacy. And finally, that our ICE. agents or other law enforcement agents. are not present at the polls in November. where the administration will. undoubtedly use them to chill our most. fundamental right, the right to vote. Again, pretty damn reasonable. All of. the concessions, all of these conditions. that Democrats are demanding. Masks, IDs, warrant signed by a judge, no.

troops at the polling places, are all. completely reasonable. And they are. things that would garner a majority. support in the entirety of this country. And yet the Republicans aren't. interested in what's reasonable or. popular. So, instead, they are making. the conscious decision to keep TSA. unfunded because they want to inflict as. much pain as possible to use as leverage. to reopen DHS without making any. concessions. In other words, they are. exploiting your pain at the airports, which by the way they could stop today. in order to allow DHS to act with.

impunity, to keep killing people with. zero accountability, all courtesy of. these quote-unquote small government. Republicans. And so now, because they. want to make zero compromises, their. solution is to send the very agents that. are so ill-prepared, ill-trained that. they cannot shoot and kill Americans in. the streets into our airports to deal. with millions of travelers from the US. and abroad. In case the tourism industry. in the US wasn't already decimated. enough, try seeing if foreigners want. their first interaction in the US to be.

with these trigger-happy losers who. responded to neo-Nazi propaganda about. deporting brown people. It's like the US. government is hell-bent on destroying. what's left of the American economy. I. asked Hakeem Jeffries about the. Republicans unwillingness to fund TSA. Here's what he had to say. Can you talk. to me about the effort being put forward. by Democrats to get TSA funded? Thanks for asking cuz there are a few. things that are important here. One, listen, Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the presidency. And from. the very beginning of this president's.

term, they've taken a my way or the. highway approach. The reason why TSA is. not being paid is because Republicans. have made the decision to hold TSA. agents hostage and to create chaos in. airports all across the country because. they don't want to get ICE under. control. And if you go back to the one. big ugly bill, $191 billion. was given to the Department of Homeland. Security, including $75 billion in slush. fund to ICE. They have more than enough.

money to make sure that every single TSA. agent is paid. They've made an. affirmative decision not to do so, which. is why we've launched this discharge. petition to force an up or down vote to. ensure that we can pay TSA agents and. reopen the other parts of the Department. of Homeland Security like FEMA and the. Coast Guard and our cybersecurity. professionals that don't have to do with. ICE or don't have to do with Donald. Trump's extreme and violent mass. deportation machine. So if if they're.

saying right now that it's the. Democrats' fault for not funding TSA and. the Democrats have stand-alone bills to. fund TSA, then what is the excuse for. TSA not being funded? Yeah, it's just Republicans again. engaging in massive disinformation and. lying straight up lying to the American. people. These are pathological liars. over on the other side of the aisle in. terms of what many of them just do and. certainly we see that on the extreme far. right. They know they're on the run.

They know that the American people. recognize that Donald Trump and. Republican policies have been a complete. and total failure. This guy promised to. lower costs on day one. Costs haven't. gone down. Costs have gone up. Republicans are losing elections all. across the country up and down the. ballot. We've seen that now happening. for about 15 consecutive months. Donald. Trump is deeply unpopular. The one big. ugly bill is unpopular. This reckless. war of choice that Donald Trump has. gotten us into in the Middle East is.

deeply unpopular and the American people. want to see taxpayer dollars being spent. to improve their quality of life and. that's what Democrats have been fighting. hard to achieve. Whereas Republicans are. spending billions of dollars to do. things like drop bombs. in Iran or to unleash violent untrained. and mass ICE agents to brutalize, on. some cases kill American citizens and. violently target law-abiding immigrant. families and so of course they're trying. to distract the American people but.

I. tend to agree with Republicans from just. a few years back who once condemned the. idea of a tyrannical secret police force. roving the streets, but I guess that's. exactly what they want today.
