BREAKING: HUGE update on Pam Bondi’s CONTEMPT CHARGES
Some major breaking news here. Ranking. member of the House Oversight Committee, Robert Garcia, is now moving forward. with a contempt resolution against Pam. Bondi in Congress after the former. Attorney General failed to appear for. her scheduled sworn deposition on April. 14th. The resolution will be introduced. in the House. It will then go to the. Rules Committee to be voted on, and if. it makes it out of the committee, it. then goes to the floor for a full House. vote where there should be bipartisan. support considering just a few months. earlier there was plenty of Republican. support at the prospect of holding the. Clintons in contempt for the same thing,
including from the chair of the. Oversight Committee himself, James. Comer. >> Well, here we are again. I don't think. it's any secret uh. former Secretary of State Hillary. Clinton. joined her husband in defying a. bipartisan lawful congressional subpoena. to show up today. I think what's most. disappointing to the Oversight Committee. is the fact that we have in good faith. negotiated with the Clintons' attorneys. for 5 months. Throughout the past 5 months, they've.
implied to us they were trying to make a. date work. In fact, the last date we. had, they they uh notified us 3 days. beforehand said that they would love to. come, but they but they have a funeral. to attend. And we have bent over. backwards to try to schedule the. Clintons I'm I'm still talking. I'm. still talking. I'm still talking. Go. ahead. Hey, hey, get get him out of. here. You're not even a reporter. Get. out of here. So, here here's a here's. the here's the situation. Uh we're going.
to hold both Clintons in criminal. contempt of Congress. We believe that uh because this subpoena. was issued in a bipartisan fashion, the. Democrats uh acted the day that these. subpoenas were voted on in the. subcommittee like they wanted the. Clintons to come. >> And guess what? The Clintons showed up. So, the precedent now exists. Show up or. face contempt charges. James Comer was. prepared to hold the Clintons in. contempt, they showed up. And so now, because Republicans tried to turn the. Clintons into the boogeyman here, they.
painted themselves into a corner as it. relates to Pam Bondi, who opted not to. do what the Clintons did, opted not to. show up. And I know that shame is. virtually nonexistent in today's GOP, but it's going to be a pretty damn. difficult sell for James Comer to square. that circle if he decides that the rules. only apply to the Democrats. Of course, the rules applying only to Democrats is. precisely what the DOJ is pushing for. A. few weeks back, it became clear that the. DOJ was trying to claim that because. Bondi was no longer attorney general,
that somehow the subpoena was no longer. valid. The Assistant Attorney General. wrote to James Comer, quote, "Ms. Bondi. no longer holds that office. As a. result, because Ms. Bondi no longer can. testify in her official capacity as. Attorney General, the department's. position is that the subpoena no longer. obligates her to appear on April 14th. We kindly ask that you confirm that the. subpoena is withdrawn." Only small. problem, the office of the Attorney. General was not subpoenaed. Pam Bondi. was subpoenaed. And just because she's. left that position, does not mean that.
the subpoena for Pam Bondi goes away. A. point that ranking member Robert Garcia. made to me in a recent interview. >> Of course, the subpoena that we put in. place does not have any mention of. whether the fact, you know, she's AG or. not. And the subpoena is for Pam Bondi. And so, whether she is in the position. or not, she legally is required to. appear before the Oversight Committee on. April the 14th, which is a date that. Comer set for her to come. We've checked. this all already out today with all the. all the lawyers and the attorneys. And. so, she now has to come testify. She can.
come and do the right thing and finally. be honest about actually what happened, why the cover-up, why 50% of the files. have not been released. And look, she no. longer have to work for Donald Trump. So, let's actually get to the truth. >> And please note that I'll be. interviewing Robert Garcia again today. on this latest news. So, if you'd like. to watch that interview, please make. sure to subscribe to this channel. It is. 100% free, but a great way to support my. work. I'm going to put the link right. here on the screen and also in the post. description of this video. While the. latest Jeffrey Epstein documents have. exposed corruption at the highest levels.
of American society, there is an eerie. pattern forming. Aggressive enforcement. overseas, but silence at home. Where are. the arrests? Where are the indictments. in the United States? When you look at. how legacy media is covering this, it's. not hard to see why. We can't even agree. on what's happened, and that's why. nothing gets done. And that's exactly. why I partnered with Ground News, because they are the best tool for us to. see through the partisan reporting. fracturing America. For example, when. House Dems recently released email. exchanges between Epstein and Trump, Ground News lets me see that. left-leaning outlets like News and.
Record revealed Trump knew about the. trafficking and abuse. But when you look. at the right, Fox News only states that. this was a bad faith Epstein doc. released without addressing the content. of the files. Same documents, completely. different realities. But I wouldn't have. caught this without Ground News. Ground. News doesn't pick sides. Instead, it. pulls thousands of articles from around. the world and organizes them by story, so you can see how every outlet is. framing the same event. The color-coded. layout shows each source's political. bias, lets you filter for high. factuality reporting, and tells you. whether an outlet is independently owned.
or backed by a large media conglomerate. In 30 seconds, I get the full picture. instead of just some slice. In a world. where algorithms feed you what others. want you to see, Ground News helps you. cut through the narrative bias, access. different viewpoints, and verify. information for yourself. And because. it's subscriber-funded, its loyalty is. to you, not corporate interests. Because. I believe in Ground News so much, we're. offering you 40% off the Vantage Plan. that I use for my research. Just go. click the link in the description or go. to ground.news/btc.

But. unfortunately for the DOJ, early signs. point to the fact that even Republicans. agree with Garcia's position. According. to a spokesperson for the Republican-led. House Oversight Committee, "The. Department of Justice has stated Pam. Bondi will not appear on April 14th for. a deposition since she is no longer. attorney general and was subpoenaed in. her capacity as attorney general. The. committee will contact Pam Bondi's.
personal counsel to discuss next steps. regarding scheduling her deposition.". Quote, "Regarding scheduling her. deposition." In other words, doesn't. exactly sound like the DOJ's gambit will. have worked here considering even James. Comer's representative is suggesting. that this is not just a matter of. rescheduling the deposition, not. canceling it, not withdrawing the. subpoena. A move that clearly Pam Bondi. didn't seem intent on following. Of. course, the reality is that James Comer. is likely being forced into this hostile. position against the DOJ because he.
simply doesn't have the votes on his own. side to block this. Even Republican. Nancy Mace has made her position clear. that Pam Bondi must testify. Just weeks. ago, she, along with Ro Khanna, sent a. joint letter to James Comer saying, quote, "We urge you to make clear former. Attorney General Pam Bondi remains. obligated to comply with the Oversight. Committee's subpoena and appear for her. scheduled deposition on April 14th. We. moved to subpoena Pam Bondi and the. committee voted to approve this motion. on a bipartisan basis because the US. Department of Justice has still not. complied with the Epstein files.
transparency act and because serious. questions remain regarding the DOJ's. non-compliance and their handling of the. investigation into Epstein and his. associates since she was Attorney. General. The removal of Pam Bondi as AG. does not diminish the committee's. legislative oversight interest in. seeking her sworn testimony or the need. for accountability and information about. files withheld from the public by the. DOJ. On the contrary, it makes her sworn. testimony even more important, especially with respect to actions she. took as Attorney General, matters. already under investigation, and. decisions made under her leadership.
When Pam Bondi appeared last month for a. briefing, you reiterated you would. continue to pursue her sworn testimony. and would discuss holding her in. contempt of Congress if she failed to. comply. She also stated that she would. follow the law with respect to her. subpoena, which clearly requires her to. appear before the oversight committee. As you know, Congress' oversight. authority does not end when an official. leaves office. In fact, just last year. the committee issued subpoenas to six. former AGs spanning multiple. administrations of both parties. The. American people deserve answers about. whether Congress was misled and whether. information is being withheld by the.
DOJ. We ask you to publicly reaffirm. that Pam Bondi must appear on April 14th. for a sworn deposition as ordered or. face appropriate enforcement if she. refuses to comply. So, with the margins as thin as they are. in the house, Comer probably recognizes. that dying on this hill is a losing. battle. That and the fact that it's. probably not a great look to protect. pedophiles, just, you know, for. starters. Especially since it was Trump's team. that said this on the campaign trail. >> Everybody has Everybody in politics has. a vice that's much worse than alcoholism.
is is the way that I put it. Um but we. we um. >> Release the list. >> Seriously, we need to release the. Epstein list. That that is an important. thing. >> You say that the FBI has Epstein's list, they're sitting on it. That doesn't seem. like something you should do. You're. protecting the world's foremost. predator. That seems like an evil thing. to do, regardless of who may be. embarrassed in the release of that list. Why is the FBI protecting the greatest. pederast um the the largest scale.
pederast in human history? >> Simple, because of who's on that list. >> You wondering why we're not hearing more. about this Epstein case? I mean, the guy was only connected to. just about every major player in the. swamp internationally. And yet you don't. hear much about it. And what the hell. are they hiding with Jeffrey Epstein? >> And even Trump himself weighed in. >> Nice guy. Uh got a lot of problems coming up in my. opinion with the famous island with. Jeffrey Epstein. >> You raised the question of Jeffrey. Epstein in your remarks about in the. Q&A. >> Well, I think he's got a problem. I mean.
>> you think the problem will be? >> I I don't know, but that island was uh. really a cesspool. There's no question. about it. Just ask Prince Andrew. He'll. tell you about it. The island was an. absolute cesspool. >> So, good on Robert Garcia for not. letting this go. And the onus is now on. us to continue to apply pressure to. Republicans to vote this contempt. resolution out of the Rules Committee. and then to pressure Republicans to vote. for the resolution once it's out there. for a full vote on the floor of. Congress. Because let's be clear, the. White House will stop at nothing to. prevent this from moving forward. Their.
only job is to protect the people who do. Trump and Epstein's bidding and that. includes Pam Bondi. This is a cover-up. happening in real time. Our job is to. ensure that everyone in the government. understands that if you want to be a. party there to defend a pedophile ring, that's your prerogative, but that there. will be consequences. Trump ran on the. idea that criminal elites who do heinous. things to children will be exposed. Now, against his wishes, that is exactly what. we're looking to do.
Before you go, I'm very excited to. announce that I've written a new book. titled The Day After: How to wield power. in a post-Trump world. The book explores. what is, in my opinion, the single most. important theme that we're dealing with. in politics today and moving forward, power. Specifically, how Republicans. abuse it and how Democrats refuse to. wield it. This book explains how we got. here and more importantly, how we should. finally wield power if we're lucky. enough to get it back. It is the. blueprint for progressives who want to. do far more than just restore the status. quo. Please pre-order today by following.
