BOMBSHELL: Whistleblower complaint against Trump & USPS sends SHOCKWAVES through DC

We've got some bombshell news here. According to a new whistleblower. complaint, the US Postal Service has. defied a court order blocking Trump's. executive order regarding mail-in. ballots and is moving forward with a. quote secretive, rushed effort to. implement it anyway. According to the. New York Times, the official filed a. whistleblower report published on. Tuesday morning by the office of Senator. Richard Blumenthal, Democrat of. Connecticut, asserting that risky and. haphazard implementation of Mr. Trump's. order could lead to a catastrophic. failure in the mail ballot system ahead. of this year's midterm elections. The.

report said that the agency had planned. to complete the new digital system. overseeing mail ballots by September. 1st. Quote, "Potentially millions of. American voters may not receive their. mail and ballots this election cycle in. a timely manner or at all." The official. said in the report, which was prepared. with the assistance of Whistleblower. Aid, a nonprofit group that represents. people seeking to expose potential. lawbreaking. Speaking to reporters by. phone on Monday, Mr. Blumenthal said of. the report that the main takeaway for me. is that the postal service has designed. a system to disenfranchise millions of. Americans. One-third of all Americans.

cast their ballots by mail and the USPS. puts all of their votes at risk. Now, there are a few issues here. First, that. the Trump administration continued to. work on that new mail portal created to. put Trump's executive order into effect. despite federal injunctions that had. barred it from doing so. Here's the. court order from August 27th blocking. the USPS from taking further preparatory. steps to implement Trump's executive. order. And yet, here is a disclosure. from the whistleblower report showing.

USPS leadership ordering employees to. resume development of the election. ballot mail IT system on or about a. month ago while the injunction was in. effect. Specifically, work on the portal. and related mail ballot IT systems. continued despite the August 27th, 2026. temporary restraining order issued on. the First Circuit. The issue will. undoubtedly be raised to Judge Talwani, who issued the temporary restraining. order that the administration defied in. stark opposition to a ruling. I presume. she won't take it lying down. In fact,

not only did Trump and USPS move forward. despite a court order barring such. action, but Trump's concurrent effort to. get the states to send their voter roles. to the federal government has resulted. in lawsuits in 30 states. And the DOJ is. so far 0 for 23 in those lawsuits. The. DOJ hasn't won a single case where they. try to get the state's voter roles sent. to the federal government. And yet. somehow Trump looked at that plus a. court order blocking further action as a. mandate to move forward with all of. this. Anyway, the next issue here is.

with the portal itself. According to. Democracy Docket, which reported. extensively on Senator Blumenthal's. level, outlining the whistleblower. report, quote, Blumenthal's letter. details a slap dash attempt to implement. Trump's order that seems almost designed. to leverage minor bureaucratic mistakes. into reasons to reject thousands of. votes. Quote, "Not only is this system. astonishingly untested, USPS has. simultaneously implemented impracticable. 0% failure rate." Blumenthal wrote, "When ballots are submitted to USPS in. large volume batches, if any one ballot.

in the batch cannot be verified against. the portal, all ballots in that batch. will be rejected." In other words, if. there's just one ballot with an issue, like a name that doesn't match up. identically to the name states. previously provided to USPS, out of a. batch of 10,000, then USPS would refuse. to mail all 10,000 of the ballots, not. just the flagged one. quote, "Voters. intending to cast ballots by mail may. not even be aware that their ballot has. been rejected or were part of a rejected. batch until it is too late to secure an.

alternative ballot or vote in person,". Blumenthal added. And USPS has done all. of this to attempt to stand up a new. procedure just 2 months before election. day without the normal basic checks like. internal testing, customer acceptance. testing, and a final development stage. before release to public-f facing users. And look, I understand how you might. look at this and think there's no way to. properly stand up a system that won't. disenfranchise millions of voters in. just 2 months. And frankly, you'd be. right. And that's the point. Trump. doesn't want the USPS to stand up a.

system that works. He expressly wants to. stand up a system that doesn't. Why? Because more Democrats use mail-in. ballots than Republicans. So he views. this whole exercise as a voter. suppression tactic that will. disproportionately benefit his party and. hurt the Democratic party. Which is to. say, the president and his party know. they can't win an election on the. merits. And so instead they have to rig. the rules of the game in their favor. They have got full control of government. right now and yet are so unwilling to.

just deliver on their simple promises of. lowering costs, ending foreign wars, releasing the Epstein files that they. would rather upend our entire election. instead. Think about that. They made. these promises on the campaign trail. They said they would lower costs. They. said they would release the Epstein. files. They said they would protect. earned benefits like healthcare. They. said they'd bring inflation down. They. said they'd keep gas prices low. And the. second they got power, they turned their. back on literally every single one of.

those promises. And there are no. Democrats in power to bin the blame on. Republicans have the House, the Senate, and the White House. And with that total. GOP control, they cause prices to surge, gas to rise, inflation to skyrocket, suppress the Epstein files, launch a new. Middle Eastern war that's costing us. billions of dollars. And of course, that's all unpopular. and they know that. it's unpopular, but they have so little. regard for the voters, for. actual Americans, that instead of acting. on behalf of their constituents, god.

forbid, they're just looking to blow up. the next election instead. I've said it. before and I'll say it again. The GOP is. not interested in democracy. This is. what a party of autocrats looks like in. real time. So, what happens next? First. of all, this will be litigated. immediately and it'll be litigated again. in front of a judge who will now. discover that her previous order has. been defied. I presume that won't redown. to Trump's benefit. Norm Eisen wrote, "We at Democracy Defenders Fund are. already litigating all this and we are.

going right to court to stop this. outrage. Judges hate it when you flout. their orders." And here's Mark Elias. >> Mark, what would happen if we'd never. heard from this whistleblower? They'd. never come forward. >> So, that's a great question. I mean like. like here's the thing. Right now there. are a number of lawsuits pending in. federal courts around the country to. block this system from going forward, right? To block the implementation of. this and uh to not have it be in place. Uh, and part of why this this.

blockbuster report is so significant is. because it also interfaces with those. court orders and suggests that the. postal service may have been. disregarding the court orders, which. again is not something that is un. unheard of in this administration. Uh, and so, you know, what would have. happened if this whistleblower didn't. come forward? Well, we hope that the. courts would have still held. We hope. that that would have been enough to. dissuade the roll out, but but no. guarantees. And so, you know, I I think.
