BOMBSHELL: Trump executed plan to put US journalists' lives AT RISK

We've got some brand new bombshell. reporting from the Washington Post that. builds on reporting from just a few. weeks back about the prospect of an. assassination threat against Trump. But. this one gets so much worse. So, according to the Post, an Iranian. assassination threat prompted an. extraordinary operation in which Trump. secretly flew out of Turkey on a totally. different plane while the White House. led everybody to believe that he was. safely aboard Air Force One with a bunch. of aids and staffers and journalists. So, here's how it actually went down.

Trump had flown into the NATO summit in. Turkey on his Qatar gifted Boeing 747. But when it came time to leave, reporting suggests that intelligence had. identified a credible threat from Iran. So, instead of flying out on the same. plane, he was secretly shuttled off the. tarmac in an airport catering truck, the. kind used to load food onto planes, and. quietly loaded onto a smaller military. jet, a C32A, which flew him out. separately to England. Meanwhile, the. old Air Force One, the one that.

everyone, including the reporters. traveling with him, and even some White. House staff believed he was on, took off. as a decoy. Reporters were told to close. their window shades for takeoff. The. decoy jet's transponder was reportedly. switched off before broadcasting the AF1. Air Force One call sign mid-flight. And. once Trump's actual plane landed safely. in England, he reappeared, walking down. the stairs of the decoy jet as if he had. been on it the entire time. and he flew. home on the new plane as if nothing had. happened. Now, look, I want to say.

upfront, if there was a real credible. threat to the president's life, of. course you take precautions. Nobody's. arguing the Secret Service shouldn't. protect the president. That's literally. their job. That's not the issue here. The issue is who else was on that decoy. plane and the risk they faced by being. on a plane that the wouldbe assassins. still believe that Trump himself was on, thereby maximizing the risk to everybody. except Trump. Bear in mind, the. reporters covering that trip believe. that they were flying on the same plane.

as the president of the United States. and the protections that come with it. They weren't told that it might be a. specific target of an assassination. plot. They were just told to shut their. window shades per the Secret Service and. they were sent on their way potentially. into the exact danger that Trump's own. security team had identified and was. actively routing him around. Some White. House staff, according to the Post, were. under the same impression. So the. working theory here is pretty. straightforward. If you are valuable. enough, if you're the president, your. security team builds an entire deception.

operation. Catering trucks, fake. transponder signals, a full decoy flight. around keeping you out of harm's way. But if you're a lonely journalist doing. your job or a staffer just showing up to. work that day, you get put on the plane. that might be the actual target and. nobody bothers to mention it. It sends a. message from this White House to the. press, that they are expendable. And by. the way, that is how Trump views all. media that doesn't suck up to him, including independent media. That's the.

reason that he put me on his enemies. list, even though it led to a surge in. death threats and harassment. He doesn't. want any critical coverage, and I refuse. to bend the knee. Now, as far as leaving all of those. other people at risk while Trump himself. was protected, that's a point that TMZ's. Harvey Leven spoke about here. For some.

reason, they allowed that airplane to. take off and fly to London through. Turkish airspace when presumably there. was a severe security threat such that. Donald Trump could not take that. state-of-the-art airplane to London. That's just unbelievable that if there. was this kind of a threat, why would. they let that airplane fly, Air Force.

One, because the idea of putting Trump. in the catering truck and then getting. him onto another aircraft? Well, what. they were trying to show was that for. all intents and purposes, people would. believe Trump was still on the old Air. Force One. And if he was still on the. old Air Force One and there was a. security threat targeting that aircraft, the Iranians would have believed that. Trump was on Air Force One. That was the. whole point. And yet he wasn't. But.

these unsuspecting reporters, White. House staff, and military personnel were. on that plane and they flew. Um, I asked. somebody who was involved in the story, you know, why why wouldn't they fake a. mechanical problem and wait until Donald. Trump um was able to get through that. area and get into safe airspace and then. declare what happened. Um, and they had. no idea why that didn't happen. But the.

idea that these unsuspecting reporters. and others, White House staff, um, just. didn't know is pretty remarkable. And, you know, the other thing that's kind of. interesting is that they almost always. have some reporter on planes that the. president flies to chronicle anything. that might happen. Um, from everything.

we're hearing, that didn't happen here. When Donald Trump went to another. aircraft, um, as far as we can tell, there was no no other reporter on that. plane. But the big thing that they just. have not answered is why would you allow. the old Air Force One to take off if. there was that kind of imminent danger? >> And here's the other thread that I want. to pull on because it's been sitting. here the whole time. The plane that got. used as the decoy, the old Air Force.

One, is only old because Donald Trump. has been in the process of retiring it. in favor of that new Qatari 747. Now, US. American taxpayers were told when that. Qatari jet deal became public that Trump. needed a new plane, a better plane, a. safer, more modern plane befitting the. president. Except apparently the safer, more modern plane wasn't the one that. Trump trusted to fly through hostile. airspace when his own life was on the. line. He gets that small, nimble. military jet slipping quietly out the.

back. Everybody else gets put on the. plane that's old enough or exposed. enough that it's the one being used as. bait. So, if the plane wasn't safe. enough for him under real threat. conditions, you got to ask yourself, was. it ever actually the plane that the. country needed in the first place? Or. did American taxpayers spend nearly a. billion dollars refurbishing and. retrofitting a luxury aircraft because. Trump wanted a nicer plane with his name. essentially on it? dressed up as a. national security necessity and then he. would get to keep that plane after he.

left office. Because when push came to. shove, when an actual credible threat. existed, it wasn't Air Force One that. got trusted to carry the president of. the United States to safety. It was a. totally different jet quietly off the. record while the plane we paid for. played decoy for the people who didn't. get the same warning he did. And that. really is the whole story here. when. it's Donald Trump's safety on the line, no expense, no operation, no level of. security is too much. But the second. it's somebody else's safety, say a.

reporter, a staffer, anybody not named. Donald Trump, suddenly this concern. evaporates and they're the ones left. holding the risk that he wasn't willing. to take on for himself. So, it's clear. that this White House views reporters as. expendable. It's clear this White House. views anybody other than Trump as. expendable. And it's clear that all of. the money we poured into retrofitting a. plane that Trump swore was secure was. actually done so that he could enjoy it. as a little gift after he left office. All of which underscores one major theme. with Donald Trump. It's always about.

him. It's all about how he's protected, how he's secure, how he's benefiting. from taxpayer dollars, how he's building. up his legacy. Nothing about Americans. When Trump took office, it wasn't to. help us. It was so that we could help. him. That's why while our prices have. surged, while our gas costs more, while. our health care has been cut, while our. farmers are getting squeezed, while our. food assistance is being gutted, Trump's. net worth has tripled. Trump's building. himself a ballroom. Trump's gifting.

himself an arch. Trump's beautifying his. White House. Trump's expanding his real. estate portfolio. Trump's doullling out. military defense contracts to his. companies that his kids are invested in. This is all to the benefit of one man. and that one man's family. Not you or me. or any regular American, but to Donald. Trump. All of which would be bad enough. unto itself. But it is so much worse. when you consider the fact that. Republicans could step in and stop this. They are the majority in a co-equal. branch of government. They have full.

power to reign him in. They are the only. ones with full power to reign him in. They are making the conscious decision. though not to. They're making the. conscious decision that he can do. whatever he wants regardless of the. constitution, regardless of any laws, regardless of any checks of power. They. are the cause of this because they are. in a position to stop it and yet choose. not to. So when you look at the ballot, just remember that wherever you see a. Republican, you should see a political. party that has created an environment. where Trump undermines the entire. federal government in deference to.

himself. When you see Trump try and pay. himself from the US Treasury, remember. that Republicans allowed it. When you. see Trump cut health care for tens of. millions of Americans, remember that. Republicans allowed it. When he guts. food assistance, remember that. Republicans allowed it. When he launches. a trade war that sends costs surging, Republicans allowed it. When he launches. a real war that sent gas prices and. inflation surging, Republicans allowed. it. And when you see journalists use as. decoys while Trump gets shuttled off of. a plane that we paid for that was never. going to be secure, know that. Republicans allowed it. If you are going.

to give Trump a clear runway to run. rough shot over our democracy, then you. also own the consequences. Before you go, one quick request.
