Tonight, President Trump's spending. in tax cut bill passing in the Senate, the Vice President, JD Vance, with the tie-breaking vote, including cuts to Medicaid, more than 11 million. Americans could lose their health insurance, roughly 4 trillion in tax cuts benefiting the wealthy, and estimated to add 3.3 trillion to the. debt over 10 years. We begin tonight with the breaking news in the Sean. Diddy Combs trial late this afternoon. The jury telling the judge they have reached a partial. verdict. They have decided on four of. the five counts telling the judge they are stuck on. one of those counts, the racketeering conspiracy charge. The jury deliberating for just a day and a half and.

reaching this partial verdict again, four of five counts. They're verdict not revealed at this hour because the judge. telling them to keep going on that fifth count. The Combs trial went on for nearly two months. with graphic testimony and disturbing sexually. explicit images. Earlier today, the jury asking for a transcript from Cassie. Ventura's testimony about this 2016 hotel attack. captured on surveillance. She testified she was trying to escape when Combs assaulted her. The jury made up of eight men and four women. comes has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Late today, the judge telling them to keep an open mind. and to keep deliberating. ABC's chief investigative correspondent, Aaron Katersky, he's live at the courthouse tonight and he leads us off. Aaron? After a day and a half of deliberations, David, we have an incredible cliffhanger here, a verdict, but no conclusion, a defendant who looked shaken. and a jury told it's not done yet. Tonight 13 hours into deliberations, jurors said they have reached a verdict. on four of the five criminal counts against Sean Combs,

but said there's stuck on the racketeering conspiracy charge, the judge instructing them to keep going. The eight man, four woman jury sent a note saying. there are unpersuatable opinions on both sides. The note said the jury is prepared to release a verdict. on the two counts of sex trafficking and two counts of. transportation for prostitution. When the note came in, Combs, who was denied all. charges, looks stricken. He sat in a chair with his chin resting on his palm, defense. attorney standing in a huddle around him. At one point, Combs wiped his eyes.

His mother, sons and twin daughters sat stone-faced. in the second row. Racketeering conspiracy requires jurors to find Combs, let. a criminal enterprise, and and agreed to commit at least. two of eight underlying crimes, like Arson, where prosecutors. alleged he gelously ordered the fire bombing of rapper Kid. Cutty's car or bribery, where they say he tried to pay off. a hotel security guard after surveillance cameras captured. him attacking Cassie Ventura. The judge told jurors, "I ask at this time that. you keep deliberating. He reminded them of their duty to consult with one another.

and to deliberate with a view to reaching an agreement. adding they should not hesitate to change an opinion when. convinced that it is erroneous. So let's get right back to Aaron Katersky live at the. courthouse tonight. Aaron, again, as you've reported, the. jury at this hour says it's reached an agreement on. four counts, the charges of sex trafficking and. transportation for purposes of prostitution. But again, as you have reported here, they are stuck on the. racketeering conspiracy charge. So what happens now? And what are legal observers saying tonight, a day and. half in a partial verdict on four of five counts.

against Sean Combs. What could this mean for Combs? Based on his demeanor alone, David, he didn't seem to think. this is going very well for him, but there really is no. way to know for sure. And it could cut either way, honestly at this point. We do know there is consensus on four of the five council. So the jury is working together. Maybe they're stuck on what it means to be part. of a criminal conspiracy. The jury's going to come back, start fresh tomorrow, David,

The storms have already turned deadly. Police say a woman was killed in an SUV.

that collided with a fallen tree. This is in Wilmington, Delaware. The storms tonight, just as millions, travel for the fourth, Lee Goldberg times out. the storms this evening. Flight cancell delays increasing by the hour. as powerful storms packing wind, hail and lightning target the. northeast for the second night in a row. Interstate 95 in indated amid a flash flood. warning for Philadelphia late today.

White house flags rippling in the wind as the storms engulf. the nation's capital overnight storms dumping half a foot of. rain in parts of Pennsylvania, triggering a flash. loved emergency in Lancaster County. And in Wilmington, Delaware, a 79 year old woman. was killed when a tree fell right in front of. the car she was riding in. The driver swerved, but it was too late. Those storms also brought ground stops.

to most of the major Northeast airports. on one of the busiest days to fly. Our geobanetes with teams from United Airlines. early this morning as they tracked traffic. in and out of Newark Airport. We are inside the United Operations Center here at New. ark right now. It is very, very busy more than half a million. United passengers this week alone. and take a look. They are watching that weather very closely. With 300,000 flights scheduled nationwide, the. FAA says this could be the busiest 4th.

of July holiday period in 15 years. And David travel is a mess. More than 1,300 flights have been. canceled to the most affected at the airport's DC Reagan, New York, LaGuardia, and right here at Newark. David. A lot of headaches. David, I see a storm circling New York City right now, but. the severe staying to the south, we've had a rough. afternoon evening in DC with trees knocked down.

We've had flooding. Still flood warnings in Philly and Baltimore. the severe thunderstorm watch tonight and ongoing flooding. across parts of southern New Jersey. These storms for the next. few hours can still produce some 70 mile per hour gusts and some. flash flooding, especially across. southern New Jersey, the Del Marva and into eastern Virginia. Later on tonight, just some lingering. showers that'll move offshore one more. round of storms on Thursday in the. Northeast gets a great fourth of July. That is not the case across Florida. Unfortunately, a straddled front there,

low pressure along it could be tropical. the next name would be Sean Talbot, regardless of. named or not, you're looking at heavy downpours. potential flooding and days of rain into the. weekend. In terms of the fourth, dry in the southeast, dry in the northeast, but you're looking at heat. building into the Midwest, some showers from the northern. Rockies to Texas. The west looks dry, but once again for. the Macy's fireworks, we couldn't be nicer. Low humidity, nice and dry, 80s. by day, 70s in the evening hour. Vance, with the tie breaking vote, the. bill includes major cuts to Medicaid. More than 11 million Americans. could lose their health insurance. It includes roughly 4 trillion in tax cuts. benefiting the wealthy. And it's estimated it will add. 3.3 trillion to the debt over 10 years. So what does it now face in. the House? Here's Mary Bruce. Tonight, President Trump's sweeping bill slashing taxes. for the wealthy and boosting spending for immigration.

enforcement squeaking through the Senate with a tie-breaking. vote from the Vice President. On this vote, the yeas are 50, the nays are 50, the Senate. being evenly divided the Vice President votes in. the affirmative, the bill as amended is passed. The bill features roughly $4 trillion in tax cuts, mostly. for the wealthiest Americans. "That will spur economic growth and more jobs and opportunities. for American workers.". It also fulfills the president's campaign promise to eliminate.

taxes on tips in overtime. And it includes deep cuts to Medicaid, which the nonpartisan. Congressional Budget Office says will cause 11.8 million. Americans to lose their health insurance over the next decade. "The American people will not forget the betrayal, the. betrayal that took place today.". Three Republican senators voting no, Susan Collins of Maine, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, and Rand Paul of Kentucky. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska delivering.

the deciding yes vote, after negotiating an. Alaska exception for some cuts to food stamps. She called her decision agonizing. Senator Paul said that this was, that your vote. was a bailout for Alaska. It's been so much time. That's what Senator Paul said. I wish it was easy. Senator, we've got the, uh... I didn't say it. Yeah, I'm just asking for your answer. And after a long pause... Do I like this bill? No, because I tried to tear up Alaska's interests,

but I know that in many parts of the country, there are Americans that are not going to be. advantaged by this bill. I don't like it.". But in Florida where he was touring a new detention facility. for undocumented immigrants, President Trump thrilled. "The big beautiful bill just passed through.". "Oh, thank you. Wow. Thank you. Trump has repeatedly pledged he would not cut Medicaid.

He now insists the cuts in the bill only target. waste fraud and abuse. Are you saying that the estimated 11.8 million. people who could lose their health coverage? That is all waste fraud and abuse. No, I'm not saying that. I'm saying it's going to be a very much. smaller number than that. And that number will be waste fraud and abuse. What number is that? what analysis are you seeing? - I'm not seeing a number, but I know it's much less. than the number you gave. - And David, the president is also lashing out. at Elon Musk who's criticized the bill,

which would eliminate the $7,500 tax credit. for electric vehicles, which has benefited Tesla. Today, the president threatening to go after Musk. using the very agency Musk himself created, saying perhaps it's time for Doge to take a hard look. at his government contracts. As for the future of the bill, tonight. It is now in the hands of the house where it is. already facing resistance from some Republicans. David. All right, Mary Bruce. Tonight, ABC News has learned that the suspect in that deadly. firefighter ambush in Idaho So, had a preoccupation with. guns and an Aryan and Nazi symbolism according to a former. classmate. Authorities say 20-year-old. Wess Rolley ambushed firefighters at a popular trailhead in. Cordillane on Sunday. "Right now, there's an active shooter zone. The shooter killing two firefighters wounding a third. before taking his own life. Investigative sources telling us the suspect grew.

up around guns in Arizona. And tonight the suspect's former classmate, Deeter, who. asked us only to use his first name, telling me the suspect. had a passion for guns. "It was very pro-gun. You would show us him shooting, what not, like send his videos.". And Deeter also says that Roli had gotten in trouble in high. school for drawing swastikas in textbooks. "You're saying he had an affinity for the Aryan race?". "I would say yes for the Aryan race for Nazism.". and tonight is that wounded fire fighter Dave Tisdale. fights for his life the community coming together.

David officials tell me they've largely contained that fire they. begun to process that scene. They also say nobody saw this coming the suspect. had no criminal history.
