And what she now acknowledges about her own mother. will have her message. But we do begin tonight with these two new storms. coming as millions dig out from the blizzard right now. A fast-moving clipper bringing more snow and ice. from Minnesota to New York to Maine tomorrow morning. And then another storm right behind it. Snow and rain possible up the I-95. corridor, Washington, D.C., to Philadelphia, to New York City.

In fact, more than three feet of snow in parts of the Northeast. Crews working to clear the streets in hard-hit Plymouth, Massachusetts, right there. Hundreds of thousands still without power tonight. Trees coming down under the weight of this heavy snow, bringing down power lines, of course, right with it. Lee Goldberg standing by with the forecast. These next two storms and Gio Benitez leads us off. tonight with much of the northeast trying to dig out. Tonight, the record-breaking bomb cyclone blizzard. of 26 is in the books. And as that powerful system finally moves.

out, the back-breaking work begins digging out. There's an emergency. Nobody's going to be able to get down our street. In Providence, where they broke an all-time record with. more than three feet of snow, residents taking matters. into their own hands, trying to clear the street. one shovel at a time. It's very heavy and it's hard. And I fell twice yesterday. Tragically, in Newport, Rhode Island, authorities say. 21-year-old Joseph Boutros, a student at Salve Regina. University, died from carbon monoxide poisoning. while charging his cell phone in a vehicle.

Plymouth, MA hit with nearly 30 inches. of snow in our Matt Rivers made it there. after authorities lifted the travel ban. here in hard hit Plymouth, MA. More than half the town remains without power, including the town hall, and even with crews. like that one behind me, they're working nonstop. It could be days before all the lights. come back on more than 200,000 homes. and businesses still without power in the. state in New York City, Staten Island, where they got 22 inches of snow. Residents say they're being left to shovel themselves out.

All the blacktop you see, that's me, him, her, and the lady there. It's up to us to dig ourselves out. City officials asking for patience. All the areas we're having challenges are. are narrow streets where there's very limited. space for the snow to go. The blizzard hit northeast airports hard and absolutely. wrecked air travel. More than 11,000 flights canceled since Sunday, including. more than 2,000 just today and thousands more delayed. And David, it's so bad that American Airlines is adding.

4,000 seats to recover from this and try to catch up. It's going to take days to really recover from all of this. And remember that more storms are headed to. the northeast this week. Speaking of those storms, Gio, thank you. Let's get right to WABC Chief Meteorologist Lee Goldberg. back with us tonight as well. Highly. Hey, David, can't sleep on this forecast. Say it ain't snow. Another clip. We're headed for the northeast where weather. advisories are in place. We'll have this snow reaching the I-95. corridor just in time for the morning commute, only an up to.

an inch at the coast and more in the interior. But on top of one to three feet of. snow, it's higher impact and certainly a lot of. frustration. Again, a few inches in the interior. Then there's another storm threat Thursday. Rain Rain in the south. in the mid-Atlantic. The I-95 corridor on the northern fringe. We'll see if the storm takes a turn to the north and. brings a little snow to the I-95 corridor later Thursday. into Thursday evening. We'll know more tomorrow. Again, the track is going to determine it all. And, Lee, you'll be right here with us. We appreciate it. With the search for Nancy Guthrie now in its fourth week, tonight Savannah Guthrie and her siblings are offering. up to a million dollars for information leading. them to their mother. We still believe in a miracle. We still believe that she can come home.

But tonight, an anguished Savannah is acknowledging. her mother may be dead. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves. and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad. and with her beloved brother Pierce and with our daddy. If this is what is to be, then we will accept it.

But we need to know where she is. We need her to come home. For that reason, we are offering a family reward. of up to $1 million for any information that. leads us to her recovery. Sources familiar with the Guthrie's decision told ABC News. the family was prepared to fund the reward from the start. but waited until now because they were initially. advised against it.

It is day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark. of night from her bed. The suspect appeared at Nancy Guthrie's front door earlier. than the night of her abduction. Sources told ABC News this image of him without. a backpack was captured sometime before February 1st, suggesting he may have planned the abduction in advance. Investigators found DNA inside the house. It's a mixed sample from more than one person, making. it hard to build a profile of a possible suspect.

Tonight, the family is hoping this million-dollar reward. will prod someone who knows something to come forward. Tell what you know and help us bring our beloved mom home so. that we can either celebrate a glorious, miraculous homecoming. or celebrate the beautiful, brave and courageous and. noble life that she has lived. Investigators have said, David, their best chance to unmask.

As Americans in Mexico recount the violence that ignited. after a drug lord was killed in a military operation, the cartel retaliating swiftly. We're randomly just yanking people out of their cars. and taking the cars and also setting them on fire. Yoni Pizer visiting from Chicago with his husband. and friends when he says a gunman approached their.

rental car in Puerto Vallarta. He got to the car, pointed at my head and through the window. said, get out of the car. He threw a bomb or an incendiary device in it. and the car exploded. Pizer hunkering down for days after the State Department. urged U.S. tourists across Mexico to shelter in place. Tonight, that order lifted. Video online showing part of that military raid on. Sunday that left at least 30 members of the Jalisco. New Generation cartel dead, including their cartel.

boss, El Mencho. The cartel striking back, stores and vehicles set ablaze, thick smoke rising over the coastline, tourists shaken. My daughter saw the cartel light a car on fire. right in front of us. There was fire all around us. It was terrifying. The chaos on Sunday also triggering flight. cancellations and diversions at Guadalajara Airport, travelers left stranded.

And we're tracking a new incident tonight, David. An American Airlines passenger jet apparently shot at while. landing in Colombia on Sunday. Officials saying the bullet holes were uncovered after. it touched down here in Miami the following day. No injuries were reported. Meanwhile, in Mexico, Americans there are being urged to. make sure that their flights are on track to depart. before heading to the airport. Victor Akendo with us tonight. Victor, thank you. Tonight, the president will talk about the issues, the economy, affordability in this country. He will likely address his tariffs. Of course, the Supreme Court ruling against. his tariffs in recent days with some of the justices. right there in the chamber in front of the president. and who the president is inviting into. that chamber tonight. Republicans in the midterm elections.

It's going to be a long speech because we have. so much to talk about. Tonight, the president will find himself face-to-face. with the Supreme Court, Some of the justices sitting. front and center just days after the court wiped. away his signature tariffs, dealing a massive blow. to his economic agenda. Last year, Trump warmly greeting Chief Justice John. Roberts, telling him thank you. Thank you again. Thank you again. Don't forget. This year, a different story. Trump attacking Roberts and the other justices who.

ruled against his tariffs as fools and lapdogs. They're barely invited. Honestly, I couldn't care less if they come. Tonight's speech, an opportunity for the president to convince. Americans he's laser-focused on their chief concern, the rising cost of living. Our ABC News Washington Post-Ipsos poll shows 57 percent. of voters disapprove of how Trump is handling the economy. The president will lay out the case for why he and Republicans. are better suited to tackle, continue tackling the.

affordability crisis. The president is also expected to discuss possible. military strikes against Iran. Today, telling the network news anchors who both Republican. and Democratic presidents traditionally invite to. the White House before the State of the Union, quote, Iran wants a deal more than I do. They just can't say the magic phrase, we won't. build nuclear weapons. But Trump has yet to tell the American people why. war might be necessary. As is tradition, the president inviting some. high-profile guests.

Erica Kirk, widow of slain conservative activist. Charlie Kirk, will be sitting with the first lady. And the American men's hockey team flying in fresh. off their Olympic gold. Trump inviting them minutes after their historic win. Joking, he'll have to invite the gold-winning American. U.S. women's team as well, or he'll be impeached. We're going to have to bring the women's team, you do know that. I do believe I probably would be impeached, okay? But the women declined the invitation, saying they were.

sincerely grateful but could not attend due to the timing and. previously scheduled academic and professional commitments. I recognize everyone. Today, Trump welcoming the men's team to the Oval Office. Congratulations. Thank you very much. And this is all happening tonight, David, in the middle of. a partial government shutdown. Democrats refusing to fund the Department of Homeland Security. until Trump reforms his immigration enforcement tactics. And tonight, over 60 Democrats are boycotting the speech.

The fighters spotted taking off from a base in the U.K. President Trump threatening U.S. military action against Iran unless the Iranian regime. agrees to a nuclear deal. In the U.S. tonight to this disturbing scene unfolding. outside Seattle at this hour. Four people killed in a deadly stabbing rampage outside a home. A deputy arriving opening fire. And here's Trevor Ault now. Tonight, a disturbing, deadly stabbing attack. near Seattle, leaving some victims dead in the street.

Order violation of progress possible stabbing. Authorities say sheriff's deputies received a call. of a 32-year-old man violating a no-contact order, which they learned had not yet been served. On their way to the scene, witnesses say that man started. stabbing people outside a home. There was an act of stabbing occurring at the location. About three minutes later, Pierce County Sheriff's. deputy arrived on scene and called out that. shots had been fired. Officials say the suspect was shot and killed by a deputy. Three victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Another died at the hospital. Witnesses say at least one person was stabbed in front. of multiple bystanders. David, authorities are investigating the. connection between the suspect and the victims, but given there was a no-contact order, it is. likely they knew each other. Authorities say the driver shot and killed the deputy, then drove off, the manhunt ending in a wooded area. where officials say he opened fire, killing a second deputy, injuring two others before being killed in the gunfire.

In downtown Los Angeles, a car plowing into a crowd. The vehicle reportedly struck several pedestrians. on the sidewalk, then smashing into a tree. Surveillance outside a flower shop showing the vehicle. slamming into that tree. Six injured, two of them serious. An investigation, of course, underway tonight. Tonight, as so many communities dig out from this monster. blizzard, one family grateful for the snowplow driver. who went above and beyond, saving their missing dogs. In Babylon, New York, on Long Island, snowplow driver Kenny. McGowan, clearing snow on the highway when he spotted two. dogs without an owner in sight.

The dogs were alone, walking right down the middle of. the lane there in the snow. Following them for about a mile, he was able to safely. block traffic so he could rescue rescue the lost dogs, warming. them up in the back of his truck, then taking them to the. Babylon Animal Shelter, where they would eventually. reunite with their grateful owners, thanks. to one of the dogs' microchips. And right here tonight, Kenny, the snowplow driver.
